Locked access to screen and system audio recording on Mac
You may see this error message, if your system settings lock your descktop streaming.
Solution:
- Choose Apple menu> System Settings, then click Privacy & Security in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
- Click Screen & System Audio Recording on the right.
- For each app listed, turn the ability to record on or off. You need to turn if on for your You can allow apps to record both your screen and audio, or just your audio.
To add an app to a list, click the Add button below the list, then navigate to the app you want to add.
If you see that the settings cannot be updated, you may need to unlock changes. Click on the lock icon to do so. You will need to enter your admin name and password to unlock changes.
