Examus desktop app. User's guide.
Examus desktop app sometimes is used as an exam browser for proctored exams. The app usage necessity is highlighted in the instructions shared with you by your exam organizer of university.
Note: Your exam organizer or university will inform you about Examus desktop app usage.
Do not install and use the app if it is not a mandatory requirement.
The app is only available only for Windows x64 (Windows 7 and higher) and for macOS 10.12 and higher.
In case of necessity, perform the following steps:
- Start your exam in a browser (Google Chrome, Yandex.Browser, Edge);
- On the app page, select Download and Install Proctoring System now:
- Download and install it;
- Select Launch Proctoring System:
To refresh a webpage inside the app, use the app navigation menu on the top ribbon.
Windows: at the upper-left corner of the app window.
macOS: click on the app label on the top navigation bar.
Important:
- Are you a Mac user? Make sure you read this article beforehand.
- Starting exams with self-enrollments in Calendar is similar to starting exams in a browser.
