For an examinee

A PC/laptop with a mouse and one display.


An up-to-date browser: Google Chrome, Yandex.Browser, Edge


Well functioning microphone and a web-cam.


Active Internet connection with bandwidth equal or higher to 1 Mbps.

If your computer does not meet the minimal technical requirements, please describe the situation to the exam organizer for figuring this out or taking an exam in audience.

A browser-based exams minimal hardware requirements:

Operating System

  • Windows 7 Home Basic / Windows 8 / Windows 10 Home / Windows 11 or higher (Windows 10 S, Windows 8 RT are not supported)
  • macOS ver. 10.12.1 and higher
  • Ubuntu 14.04 (x64) and higher
  • Debian 8 (x64) and higher
  • OpenSUSE 13.3 (x64) and higher
  • Fedora Linux 24 (x64) and higher

Browser

  • Google Chrome 100 and higher
  • Yandex.Browser 22.5.0.1814 and higher
  • Microsoft Edge (latest version)

CPU

Intel Core 2 DUO or AMD Athlon x2 and later versions with SSE3 support, 2 and more cores at 1.8 Ghz and higher

RAM

4 Gb and more

Storage free space

500 Mb and more

Web-cam

A front web-cam that records in 480p (640x480)

Microphone

Well functioning and turned on microphone (including laptop built-in microphone)

Active Internet connection with bandwidth equal or higher to 1 Mbps.

Network Ports

Allowed data transmission through ports:

UDP: 3478 (STUN/TURN), 49152 - 65535 (WebRTC media),
TCP: 443 (HTTPS), 3478 (STUN/TURN)


A Secure.Browser-based exams minimal hardware requirements:

Active Internet connection with bandwidth equal or higher to 1 Mbps.
